I like the "Star Trek" theme of the Xat Chat (hey, it rhymes! 
) in use today, Rati! Looks good - although those default user names - Cuddly Cakes?
BTW, there is a major bug in XAT chat that Jimmy, Horror1 and I discovered by accident tonight. It seems impossible to share links via the chat. I could try to post a link in chat, and the link displayed properly in my browser, but neither Jimmy nor Horror could see the links - it was like they were invisible to them. Then Horror tried posting a link - and it was the same deal - Jimmy and I couldn't see it, but Horror could on his own computer. Same when Jimmy posted a link!
So obviously since a big part of chat is sharing links, this service probably won't work for us. It's a crazy bug - we just couldn't figure out why it was happening.
Thank-you for the information, Cleve. Part of why we want to change the chatbox is to encourage forum participation. If you want to share a link, reply to the post, which bumps it up to the first in the category, then just tell the member what category. There are a number of problems with this particular chatbox , as with the old, and we are continuing to look for the best solution.
